Acutronic is looking for a Test Engineer Intern to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will assist in the Test Engineers in the testing and validation of micro gas turbine engines. This role will provide you with the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting, working alongside experienced engineers and contributing to exciting projects.

Your Roles/Responsibilities:Record and document data and results of all testing performedCollaborate with applicable engineers to define acceptance criteria and limitsMonitor production controls and measures for existing and new productsExecute testing and validation/qualification of products per the defined proceduresCreate and maintain appropriate documentation including, but not limited to: traceability materials/certifications, workflows, and quality recordsYour Profile/Qualifications/Skills:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with at least two years completed at an accredited college or universityStrong academic performance, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in engineering coursesBasic understanding of engineering principles and testing methodologiesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent computer skillsAbility to work on own initiative as well as participate as part of a teamMulti-tasking ability

We offer standard products and excel at designing highly customized solutions for demanding mission requirements.
