Acutronic is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, and test software solutions for our Electro-Mechanical actuators. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in software development and embedded systems. Our ideal candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Software Engineer InternYour Roles/Responsibilities:Assist in the design and development of embedded software using C++ 2014 Language for 32-bit microcontrollers.Collaborate with the hardware engineering team for embedded software development.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with company coding standards.Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues to ensure optimal performance.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance existing products and develop new solutions.Communicate project status, challenges, and progress effectively with team members and supervisors.Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Geotechnical centrifuges and their related accessories are designed to study the behavior of structures, soil mechanics, and earthquakes. Our vibration test systems (shaker tables) allow users to carry out environmental tests to ensure the robustness or quality of manufactured products.
