Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical - Bariatrics Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Compact license required prior to submission Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Solid navy blue uniforms; Experience in a trauma center Job Description: - Position requires floating between units as needed.- No on-call duties required.- Weekends are required, with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per scheduling period, and additional shifts as needed for patient care.- Block schedules are not required.- Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5/6.- Locals are accepted with applicable adjustments.- Compliance requires a clear background check; no Nursys hits accepted.- Travelers may need to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal may result in forfeiture of guaranteed hours.- Communication devices will be provided if required, or compensation will be offered for work-related communication costs.- Completion of pre-start and annual training modules is required, with an average of 16 hours spent on completion.- A 40-hour orientation is part of the job but is non-billable.- COVID-19 vaccine is required, with allowances for medical or religious exemptions.- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.- Professional references covering 1 year of employment in the last 3 years are crucial for submission and must be on file.Please join our team if you meet these criteria and are ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic healthcare setting!
