HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:This role typical reports into Manager, Data Engineering and is based in our Buckhead office.
Independently lead and work on Data Engineering projects (~60%)Collaborate with functional and technical SMEs to create / extend ETL, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse solutionsAssist in the configuration and setup of emerging data technologies such as Databricks, Dremio, and DataEDOEnable the delivery and optimization of Enterprise Data with segment IT & business groupsRecommend and support the introduction of new or improved technical and business practices.Perform analytical, and programming tasks as assignedImprove Data Engineering Service Quality through process improvements (~40%)
Provide Scrum Master activities for operation and scaling of Agile processes for Delivery & OperationsConstruct and implement key metrics / dashboard for agile delivery (Sprint, Epic, Roadmap performance)Derive insights from metrics to inform future improvements to the team's Agile processesWE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:Must have:
Proven ability to facilitate Agile delivery as a Scrum MasterWorking knowledge of programming frameworks for structured data e.g. Python, R, SQLWorking knowledge of structured data / data platforms such as: ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Data Lakes, BI, AnalyticsMinimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 strongly preferred)Enrollment in a Bachelor/Master's degree program at the time of the internship (certificate programs are not eligible)Availability to start on the designated start date in MayAvailability to work for a minimum of 10 out of the 11 weeks of the defined internship period which runs from May-AugustPreferred skills and experience:
Classroom or project experience as a Scrum Master for a digital teamClassroom or project experience in data platforms, modeling and/or big data analyticsOUR TEAM MEMBERS:
