Snelling is recruiting for an Associate Premium Auditor for a large Insurance company in the Baton Rouge area! Responsibilities will include auditing accounts to ensure proper premiums are charged for the coverage provided by performing an audit of the insured's payroll records, operations, and employee classifications. Premium Auditor
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes mail and phone audits for policyholders.Contacts clients to request and/or send the necessary information needed to complete the audit.Ensures that audited payroll exposures are accurately calculated within strict insurance guidelines.Reports and communicates audit findings through detailed reports supported by audit work papers.Tactfully and professionally assists agents and policyholders with understanding the results of an audit and resolves any disputes.Collects the insured's payroll and exposure information to complete the payroll audit, including examining, verifying, and recording relevant data from financial records and inspecting the business operations and employee job responsibilities.Assist with making decisions on proper audit method assignments.Various Administrative duties as needed.Premium Auditor Requirements:At least 2-4 years of Auditing or Accounting Experience REQUIRED!Knowledge of general business, insurance, and accounting principles.Self-motivated and able to work effectively and independently.Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in Accounting.Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.Strong computer skills required - proficient in Microsoft Suites.Must have the ability to work as a team!Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Interested and qualified candidates should submit their resume for immediate consideration.Don't miss this opportunity, APPLY NOW!
