Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Location: York, SC
Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday (Fridays off!)
Dress Code: Casual - comfortable pants, work shoes, and t-shirts are perfectly fine on the shop floor.

Position Summary: As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll play a vital role in transforming our engineering designs into reality. You'll work closely with blueprints and schematics, ensuring each unit is assembled to the highest standards. If you enjoy hands-on work and being part of a collaborative team, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What You'll Do:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics with precision.
  • Gather and verify all necessary parts and tools before starting assembly.
  • Position parts accurately and secure fasteners according to specifications.
  • Install electrical wiring, hydraulic hoses, and water lines to ensure operational integrity.
  • Safely operate a variety of tools, including air, power, and hand tools, as well as overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to confirm all connections are accurate and secure.
  • Collaborate with team leads to report any defects or issues promptly.
  • Meet production schedules while conserving resources to minimize waste.
  • Assist in the final inspection and documentation of completed units.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in general assembly or specialized training.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must!
  • Familiarity with safe work practices and proper PPE.
  • Proficient with power and hand tools, and knowledgeable in electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Basic math and communication skills are essential for success.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
