Status: Full Time - Hybrid

Location: Century City (Los Angeles)
Salary: $225k - $275k (negotiable based on experience)
Status: Exempt Staff Attorney
Billable Hourly Requirement: 1800

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Estate Planner to join our team in Century City. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, planning, and reviewing comprehensive estate plans for our clients. They will collaborate with clients, shareholders, attorneys, and firm members to address all aspects of estate planning, conduct legal research, gather and analyze information, and prepare documents. The ideal candidate will contribute to a team atmosphere with the ultimate goal of achieving the best possible results for the firm and its clients.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in estate planning.
  • Law degree from an accredited law school required.
  • Member of California State Bar required.
  • Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation preferred.
  • Certified specialization in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, and/or Taxation from the State Bar of California Board of Specialization preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal and state estate, gift, and income taxes, as well as probate and trust administration law required.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Proficiency in iManage, HotDocs, and Legal Solutions preferred.
  • Excellent client relations skills and significant client contact.
