Job Summary
The Sr. Business Data Analyst will support risk and compliance projects by performing data analysis, mapping, and documentation. This role requires strong experience in Capital Markets, Risk domains, or Banking, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional user stories and technical documentation. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, risk managers, and technical teams to drive initiatives, especially related to End-User Computing (EUC) inventory management and retirement planning.
Key Responsibilities
•Analyze and map data related to End-User Computing (EUC) to assist in identifying EUCs that can be retired via CORE IT or ITeSS systems.
•Work closely with business stakeholders, risk managers, and functional teams to understand and document EUCs, including metadata, usage details, and functional requirements.
•Assist with EUC retirement planning, including gathering, validating, and documenting existing retirement plans, and collaborating with EUC owners and technical teams to define paths for EUC reduction.
•Capture and document detailed requirements, user stories, BRDs (Business Requirements Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirements Documents), business cases, and scenarios.
•Serve as a liaison between business function stakeholders and technology teams to elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and validate requirements.
•Demonstrate strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience in business and technical analysis, with a focus on risk and compliance.
•Create functional and technical documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and follow best practices for requirements gathering and design methodologies.
Required Qualifications
•8 to 12 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 6 years in Capital Markets, Risk domain, or Banking.
•Proficiency in Tableau and SQL at an intermediate level.
•Strong communication skills, with experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and functional documentation.
•Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills and the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with Python or VBA.
•Prior experience in risk and compliance projects, especially related to EUC management.

Bachelors Degree
