International Nursing RN - Emergency Room - Adult

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Room Job Duration: 104 weeks Shift: Day - 11.5 hours, 3 days a week - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: A minimum of two years in emergency room settings is required. Skills in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation are necessary. License: New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification Certifications: - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - Proficiency in English (spoken, read, and written) - IV/Phlebotomy experience Job Description: - Provide comprehensive care in an emergency room setting. - Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy efficiently. - Administer conscious sedation when necessary. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency protocols and medical procedures. - Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times. - Adapt to fast-paced and high-pressure environments. - Demonstrate strong decision-making and critical-thinking skills.
