Job Overview:We are looking for an extremely motivated and passionate warehousing professional who would like to be a part of an exciting new company looking to fight climate change through disrupting the residential HVAC industry. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Responsibilities:
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and visionOversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operationsSetup layout and ensure efficient space utilizationInitiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and proceduresAdhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirementsMaintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and securityManage purchasing and inventory controlLiaise with clients, suppliers and transport companiesProduce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services providedRequirements:
Proven expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practicesProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesStrong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databasesStrong decision making and problem solving skillsExcellent communication skillsBS degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related
