Job Summary:Austin Heart would like to recruit a NP or PA to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas at our Austin location.
Qualified Candidates:
Board certified ACNP or PAWorking with one interventional cardiologistCardiology experience preferredCall: 12 weekends a yearSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmPrimarily outpatient clinic with some hospital roundingStart date: ASAPLicensed in the state of TexasThe APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologistThe candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills

Heart Hospital of Austin, which is part of St. David s HealthCare, is a 72-bed hospital and one of the highest performing cardiovascular facilities in the nation, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseaseIt features a comprehensive 24-hour emergency department; an advanced executive wellness program; six operating rooms (ORs), including three hybrid ORs; three catheterization labs; and electrophysiology servicesIt is home to one of the largest non-academic cardiovascular research programs in the world
