Job Summary:Austin Heart would like to recruit an APP to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas at our Cedar Park and Leander offices.
Qualified Candidates:
Board certified ACNP or PAWorking with one interventional cardiologistCardiology experience preferredCall: 12 weekends a yearSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmPrimarily office-based position with some hospital roundingFuture Leander hospital coverage opportunitiesStart date: ASAPLicensed in the state of TexasThe APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologistThe candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills
