Morrow Renewables can provide a complete solution to recover valuable methane gas for delivery into a nearby natural gas pipeline or for the production of compressed natural gas (CNG), creating numerous benefits for the landfill owner and the surrounding community.MUST LIVE WITHIN 45 minutes of PlantField Technician Position Description:Field Technician is responsible for balancing the landfill gas well field. The Field Technician will be trained in the use of a gas chromatograph in order to perform their tasks. Flow, temperature, and composition readings of each gas well will be recorded into a well field program and emailed daily. Field Technician must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs specifically Excel and Word. Field Technician must have excellent communication skills in order to effectively complete daily duties. Other tasks may be assigned. The Field Technician will report to the Well Tech Supervisor.Applicants should have knowledge of basic hand tools, efficient with internet and office software, able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and not be sensitive to working outside in the elements. While performing the duties of either position, the associate is regularly required to walk in adverse conditions and drive an all-terrain vehicle. This is an on-call position.Below are some general daily job duties the Field Technician will perform.1. Adjust well field as instructed to maintain gas quantity and quality.2. Ensure project compliance with government rules and regulations.3. Maintain well field data base and associated logs in proper order.4. Take wellhead readings, coordinate and verify corrective actions in order to maintain daily compliance.5. Observe applicable safety and environmental regulations while performing assigned tasks.6. Assist supervisory staff with operational planning of construction projects and gas collection field expansions.7. Ensure project compliance with government rules and regulations.Respond to call- outs and work overtime as necessary.Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the plant, office, shop and company vehicles.10. Ensure that all analytical equipment calibrations and record keeping are current.11. Acquire knowledge of all gas collection equipment12. Perform analytical tests as needed, example: Calibration of data collection instruments13. Maintains all assigned operating logs in proper order.Assist supervisory staff with operational planning of outages.15. Log and perform basic UTV maintenance.Experience in a laboratory environment a plus.
