Commercial Construction Company looking for an experienced bookkeeper/contract administrator. Experience with construction operations required. This position includes but is not limited to: payroll administration, health insurance review, AR, AP, bank reconciliations, Y/E financials, various tax filings, report to CPA and quarterly returns. Required Qualifications-Five+ years experience Full-Charge Bookkeeping/Accounting-Current driver’s license and reliable transportation-Available Mon - Fri between 8am – 4:30pm OR 8:30am - 5pm ( hours can be somewhat flexible)-Associates Degree or Equivalent-Business Accounting/Bookkeeping

Necessary Skills & Experience  -Computer literate and able to operate online programs (Gmail, online banking, etc..)-Proficient in QuickBooks-Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

-Notary Public-Knowledge & experience with Payroll, Payroll Taxes, and Payroll Software, prevailing wage/certified payroll reports-Competently operate basic office equipment: scanner, fax, copiers, etc.

Additional Responsibilities  A/P and A/RCollectionsPrepare and pay vendor invoices/statementsAll levels of HR; confidential administrative duties related to payroll, employee files, benefitsCreate, maintain monthly union reportingCorrespondence

Quarterly tax preparation (both paper filing and online; sales, highway, fuel use, etc)

Ability to work with various state and federal agenciesWork efficiently and independently; detail-orientatedHandle many operating procedures at one timeConfidently communicate with clients in person, by email & telephone File and maintain paper trails for multiple accountsHonesty and accuracy requiredMaintain the highest level of confidentiality
