We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Hospitality Accountant to oversee the financial activities of our hotel and restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel accounting and possess excellent organizational skills.
Position Information:
Full- time Position, hourly rate of 21.50.
Key Responsibilities:Balance night audit reports and manage cashier/server depositsHandle bank deposits and research charge backsMaintain ATM machine and credit card account sheetsPrepare and distribute daily and monthly financial reportsManage petty cash and conduct food and beverage inventoriesAudit front desk posting master and maintain financial records
Essential Functions:Balance night audit reports, count cashier/server deposits and make bank depositsResearch charge backs and credit card inquiriesMaintain ATM machineMaintain credit card account sheetsMaintain back-up keys for safe and bank boxesPrepare and distribute daily and monthly reportsPrepare semi-monthly spreadsheetsSummarize miscellaneous adjustments and income at the end of the monthPrepare end of month food and beverage inventoriesVerify and expense petty cash purchasesMaintain and audit front desk posting master
