POSITION SUMMARYThe Intern, Social Work will assist with various social work functions within Anthony's Villa, a nonprofit group home and mental health services agency. The intern will support the organization’s mission to create a brighter future for everyone by providing assistance in case management, counseling, and administrative tasks.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Assist with the coordination of services for clients, including intake assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning.Provide support during individual and group counseling sessions, including documentation and follow-up with clients.Perform administrative duties related to client records, data entry, and report preparation.Engage with clients to build rapport, support their daily activities, and help monitor their progress.Assist in the development and implementation of new programs and activities to support clients’ needs.Ensure all activities and documentation meet the standards set by regulatory bodies and Anthony's Villa policies.SCHEDULEThe social work intern will work in our group home Monday-Friday from 3pm-8pm.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)Currently enrolled in an accredited Master's Level Social Work program.Ability to obtain SW-T license.Strong interest in working with children and adolescents.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTMust be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Work is primarily performed in an office setting, with occasional travel to client homes and community locations. May be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.PAY RANGE$15 per hour; potential for academic credit through participating educational institutions.
