Certification Details BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - If acting as Charge Nurse must be Progressive Care Certified Nurse Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Cardiac Telemetry RN for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIH and CA license. Job Requirements 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Telemetry RN - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH - Active CA license - Experience with post cath patients, cardioversion, ablations, AICD, pacing patients, chest tubes, tube feedings, managing drips such as amiodarone, cardizem, nitro, pressors, dopamine, insulin, heparin, etc. Schedule Information 3 shifts on the unit for floor specific orientation Shifts: 7a-7p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a Every other weekend requirement (Fri/Sat nights, Sat/Sun for days) Every other holiday rotating Unit Specific Information - Monitors: Phillips monitors, must read and interpret strips; monitor techs available - No full ventilation support, but does have CPAP, BIPAP and Hi-flow O2 - Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Post cath patients both clean and interventions; post TEE, Post cardioversion, ablations, AICD, sometimes external temp pacer patients, sometimes transcutaneous pacing, chest tubes, tube feedings Additional Details COVID Vaccine Required - Unit: TCUTelemetry, cardiac intervention unit and tele overflow - Scrub Color: Navy - Stepdown nurses needed not med tele
