We are driven to be the best in class.Currency Exchange International is looking for a proactive, results-driven, and organized professional to the join the team as an IT Help Desk Technician at our office in Miami, FL!Essential Functions:Assisting with local helpdesk issuesResponding to help requests from remote branch locations and offices including the use of remote access tools and troubleshooting with end-users over the phone or messengerThoroughly documenting completed work using the company ticketing systemHands-on work for various cabling or installation purposes within the office, which may require climbing a ladder and using basic toolsProvide on-call support to office users during some off-hoursKnowledge in the following areas are necessary:Strong knowledge of Windows 7, 8.1, 10, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2, Server 2012 R2 and various administrative tasksExperience with remote access software such as Screenconnect, Teamviewer, or Remote DesktopTroubleshooting Windows installation issues including drivers, printers, scanners, and other softwareFormatting and installing Windows Operating Systems, either manually or via mass-imaging technologies, like MDTUsing a ticketing system for prioritizing and documenting progress on issues and projects within the company and departmentFamiliar with patch management and asset inventory technologies and methodologyProficiency with OS-native or OS-agnostic programming languages to be used for scripting automated tasksCutting and terminating Ethernet patch cablesEnthusiasm and a genuine interest in technologyCompetencies:Action OrientedFunctional SkillsSituational AdaptabilityEffective CommunicationOptimizes Work ProcessesNimble LearningRequired Education and Experience:Experience in a PC/local area network support environment.Strong technical knowledge of PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheral hardware devices.Strong working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, MS-DOS, communications software, virus protection, and diagnostic software.Ability to diagnose and resolve onsite and remote PC related computing problems.Benefits:Commuter Reimbursement - CXI will pay the driving toll, bus or metro cost in and out of workHoliday Pay 11 days of paid designated holidays annuallyVacation Pay 10 days of paid vacation time off annuallySick/Personal Days 5 days of paid sick/personal time off annually401K Plan - Company matches at 5%Health/Dental/Vision - 60% payment of the Health/Dental/Vision Insurance premiumsShort and Long-Term Disability - Plan premiums are fully covered by CXICurrency Exchange International is committed to providing a fair and inclusive interview process for all candidates.
