HR Employment Specialist Internship (Sun Prairie, WI)**Colony Brands, Inc.**1 PositionsID: 51933Posted On 08/26/2024**Job Overview****The HR Employment Specialist internship will begin in May and end in December 2025. This position will be based at our Sun Prairie, WI Distribution Center.**We need thousands of employees to deliver the excitement we promise our customers, so we do a lot of hiring! Your work will primarily revolve around fulfilling temporary hiring goals. To meet those goals, your duties will involve interviewing candidates, hiring, and orientating new employees. Youll also be responsible for:Performing reference and background checks on applicants as neededProcessing necessary paperwork related to the hiringConducting temporary employee surveysAssisting with updating and entering drug screening information into our computer systemAssisting Human Resource Manager with special projects and tasks as assignedThis role requires a strong, consistent, and empathetic communicator with knowledge around the Human Resource function. Ideally you will be working toward a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Management, Human Resources or related field. In addition, we are looking for:Junior or Senior standing, recent graduates may be consideredCumulative GPA of 2.80 or higherEffective presentation skillsExceptional organizational skillsThe ability to effectively handle difficult situations/ conversations diplomaticallyBilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred (bilingual interns are eligible for a $500 bonus at the completion of their internship!)This position is not eligible for 100% remote work and would require you to work onsite at our Sun Prairie Distribution Center in Sun Prairie, WI for the duration of your internship.**Note: We do not offer immigration sponsorship for any position at this time.**Colony Brands, Inc. is one of North America's largest, multi-channel, direct-marketing companies.
