Position Summary:
Brohn Homes is a leading production home builder dedicated to crafting exceptional homebuyer experience. As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales success, managing a team of sales professionals, and ensuring the efficient operation of our sales processes. You will be responsible for training, motivating, and guiding our sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Utilizing your expertise in sales management and proficiency in Salesforce, you will implement strategies to optimize sales performance and enhance customer engagement.
Duties / Responsibilities:Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.Set clear sales targets and objectives for individual team members and monitor performance against goals.Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales opportunities and drive revenue growth.Conduct comprehensive training sessions for sales team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and product knowledge to effectively engage with customers.Continuously coach and mentor sales representatives to enhance their sales techniques, negotiation skills, and customer relationship management.Utilize Salesforce CRM to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and generate insightful reports for management review.Ensure accurate and timely entry of sales data into Salesforce to facilitate efficient sales pipeline management and forecasting.Leverage Salesforce analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the sales process.Cultivate strong relationships with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and preferences.Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with market trends and customer demand.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.Conduct market analysis and gather competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and sales planning.Additional Job Duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).5+ Proven experience in sales management with a production homebuilder is required.10+ years of experience as a sales professional with a production homebuilder.Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.In-depth knowledge of real estate market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights.Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and other relevant sales tools and technologies as well as Microsoft Office Suite.Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated area.High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, fax machines, and phones.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, exempt position. Under the Regulations, Part 541, an exempt employee is one who is not entitled to the minimum wage or overtime pay protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. This position may work outside of normal business hours to include evenings and weekends as needed to complete job responsibilities.
Travel:
The Area Sales Manager will be required to travel extensively within their designated area to meet with clients, oversee sales operations, and attend industry events. This may involve daily travel within a specific region or locality to various construction sites, model homes, real estate offices, and buyer meetings. While the primary focus of travel will be within the designated area, occasional overnight travel may be necessary for attending conferences, training sessions, or meetings at the company headquarters.
