**Quality Inspector - Sheet Metal****Location** : Nice and clean 90,000 square foot shop**Pay:** Competitive, with profit-sharing and pension benefits**Shift:** 1st Shift (Mon - Thurs 7:00am - 4:30pm, Fri 7:00am - 11:00am)**About the Role:** Join our team as a Quality Inspector, specializing in sheet metal parts. You’ll ensure our products meet customer specifications through in-process and final inspections. Your expertise in GD&T, tolerances, and aerospace 9102 documentation will be crucial. You’ll perform layouts for inspection and utilize various tools, including micrometers, calipers, height gages, protractors, and CMMs. Collaborate with a dedicated team of seven in the Inspection department.**?** **Key Responsibilities:**+ Inspect sheet metal parts to meet customer specifications+ Read and understand GD&T, tolerances, and aerospace 9102 documentation+ Perform layouts for inspection+ Utilize micrometers, calipers, height gages, protractors, and other inspection tools+ Conduct some CMM work**Skills & Qualifications:**+ Must Haves:1+ years in sheet metal parts inspection (quality experience while operating machinery is acceptable)+ Understanding of GD&T+ General computer skills (Excel)+ Nice to Haves:Experience with CMMs+ Familiarity with aerospace 9102 documentation formatting**What We Offer:**+ Employee ownership with profit-sharing and pension benefits+ A clean, spacious 90,000 square foot shop+ ISO:9001 certified environment+ Opportunities for professional growth and developmentWhy Join Us?
