Position Description

Join our dynamic team as a Training/IT Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the onboarding experience for new hires in our Columbia, SC branch. In this position, you'll be responsible for coordinating and delivering comprehensive orientation and training programs that equip our new hires with the knowledge and resources they need to thrive in our innovative and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will:

Deliver comprehensive orientation and training programs for new Landmark hires to familiarize them with the Landmark's IT, infrastructure, policies, and proceduresMaintain up-to-date training materials, including guides, tutorials, and videos, tailored to Landmark Construction's needsConduct in-person and virtual orientation sessions for new staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilitiesProvide hands-on training sessions to help new employees become proficient with Landmark’s technology, systems, and softwareGather feedback to improve training content and delivery methods continuouslyProvide one-on-one coaching and support for new staff who require additional assistanceAdminister pre-developed knowledge assessments to measure new hires' understanding and retention

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical training or IT support rolesCOMPT TIA A+ (recommended)Strong understanding of training principles and an ability to teach technical concepts to users with varying levels of IT knowledgeLearning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms experienceExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with a wide range of IT hardware, software, and systemsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamExperience with remote training tools and techniquesFlexibility to adapt to changing schedules and learning needsWillingness to continuously improve training strategies and methods
