Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year

Located in Southern California, we are a food service and technology company revolutionizing the food production industry. Currently, we have an exciting REMOTE opportunity for an industry focused Financial Analyst. This individual needs to have experience in a variety of areas such as, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, research & analysis, and financial reporting. Ideally, someone coming from the food and beverage space, but MUST have experience with product costing within a manufacturing company.

Day to day...

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Analyze actual versus forecast results and deep dive variances
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements
• Develop financial models for various business scenarios and projects
• Track operational KPls and collaborate with cross functional teams
• Develop financial forecasting tools to help streamline the forecasting process
• Performing ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by the business
• Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Enforce financial controls across the facilities
• Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations

Qualifications...

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• 2+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling
• Relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA/MBA) is a plus
• Strong financial modeling ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications
• Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
• Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
