Introduction:
We are seeking an
Aftermarket Dealer Manager
to join our Distribution Management Organization North American team. You will be responsible for providing technical and commercial support through comprehensive understanding of the products, spares, wears, screening, support software and application areas. Your role plays a crucial part in performing as the local technical support for all crusher and screening aftermarket products and related services both with distributers and aggregate end users.
In this position, you will report to the Head of Aftermarket Distribution Sales, USA & Canada.
This position covers dealer support for the Central US region but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. However, the role does involve up to 50-60% travel.
Team you belong to:
You will join a team of Aftermarket Dealer Specialists committed to develop the Metso value proposition and win plans with the dealers, and support dealers similarly with the end users. We are currently building business plans for assigned dealers and year end orders.
What You'll Do:
Focus Growth Initiatives:
Support dealers in promoting Metso's aftermarket growth initiatives and ensure they achieve their commercial goals.Mentor and Coach:
Manage and coach distributors on both short and long-term opportunities, supporting business growth.Empower Teams:
Provide training and coaching to distributor personnel, ensuring they have the skills needed to resolve customer issues effectively.Coordinate Complex Quotes:
Support and coordinate DMO and distributors on complex quotes, ensuring seamless processes.Enhance Dealer Capabilities:
Provide dealer capability to independently sell Metso's value-adding services.Comprehensive Training:
Ensure dealers are well-trained on all strategic Metso product offerings.Optimize Stock Management:
Coach and support dealers on appropriate stock management to maximize availability.Ensure Product Growth:
Develop and deliver action plans to boost the growth of all aftermarket products.Maximize ROI:
Prioritize activities and actions to achieve the best return on investment.Strategic Planning:
Develop relevant business plans and follow up on execution with dealers.Process Management:
Oversee dealer development, appointment, and onboarding processes.CRM Management:
Keep the distributor opportunity funnel up to date in the CRM (Salesforce) tool.Market Intelligence:
Drive competitive and market intelligence to define the best strategies for growth.Collaborative Efforts:
Work with dealers and the local Sales Area organization to maintain detailed market intelligence.Who You Are:
Industry Expert:
Experience in the heavy industry, preferably with aggregate processing equipment.Technical Savvy:
High knowledge of crushing and screening processes and applications.Expert Communicator:
Advanced oral and written communication skills, with high organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.Customer-Focused:
