The Linux Administrator/Engineer plays a crucial role in driving the adoption of standards in our multi-cloud environments. This position is responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining standardized images for operating systems, servers, and container images running in our supported languages. This role ensures the creation, deployment, and updating of system images to guarantee security, performance, and compliance across all IT environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, virtualization, system administration, and image creation tools.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of professional work experience.Ability to develop and maintain operating system images from Linux servers running in VMware, AWS and Azure envt.o Ability to build AWS AMI, Azure images and VMware OS Images.Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).o Ability to develop container images to support java, nodejs, dotnet core and python languages..Strong experience with Packer.Solid understanding of network protocols, security policies, and infrastructure standards.Knowledge of system administration (Windows Servers or Red Hat variant Linux) and hardware configurations.Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of Cloud config to automate images post provisioning to support autoscale.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Certifications such as AWS Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals.Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
