We provide slot machines, redemption terminals, and amusement devices (pool tables, juke boxes, dart boards, etc.) to bars, restaurants, convenience stores, truck stops, and fraternal and veteran establishments across the country. SummaryThe primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, working closely with business leaders, stakeholders, and the IT development team to identify and analyze gaps between business requirements and IT system functionality; participate in the process of solution design through refinement in order to enable best practices within Accel's IT platform; offering assistance with training business stakeholders and SMEs; supporting Accel Entertainment's technology implementations by providing end-user support and guidance; facilitation of quality assurance testing; participating in change management efforts and projects, and; assisting in other areas as needed
Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview business requirements with design resources to find a technology solution that can be implemented to solve a business problem, increase process efficiency and/or positively impact financial health.Work with end users, stakeholders, leadership, and customers to solicit, identify, capture, document and analyze business requirementsCapture business processes step by step, via outlines and flow charts and process diagrams.Identify and document customer process pain points, gaps and opportunities for best practices.Assist end users and stakeholder in the identification and reporting of production system bugs.Collaborate with initiative sponsors and contribute to every phase of the project lifecycle, including discovery, requirement refinement, solution design, testing, release and deployment.Work with the IT team to design, develop and deploy cohesive integrations with multiple applications and platforms.Identify and analyze gaps between business requirements and platform/application functionality.Act as an SME representing IT solutions in managing system and process changes.Conduct train-the-trainer sessions with selected stakeholders and SMEs to ensure success upon deployment of a technology solution.Collaborate with business and IT resources to create user experiences that meet the needs of internal and external customers.Produce simple wireframes/visuals to compliment written requirements.Translate technical terminology into non-technical communication that can be delivered to business stakeholders.Perform object and feature configurations, create reports and dashboards, and manage other configurable items within Sales, Service and Experience Clouds.Develop software platform automations through out-of-box tools and other feature enablement.Provide incident support to NetSuite, Salesforce, and Workday end users on an as needed basis.Interface with vendor support if an incident occurs with third party applications.Prepare or contribute to system design documentation.Perform data hygiene and de-duplication tasks on behalf of Accel's business operations.Analyze and complete mass data import requests.Participate in the refinement of requirements to produce a quality product.Assist with the release and deployment of features to the NetSuite, Salesforce, and Workday production instances.Act as a consulting SME to fellow IT resources.Follow Agile project management methodology and participate in project refinement sessions, stand ups and retrospectives.Gain a solid understanding of Accel Entertainment business processes and systems, while also increasing knowledge and expertise of the platforms adopted in support of business operations.Perform other duties as assigned by the Technology and/or IT teams.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related fieldMinimum of two (2) years experience working in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst position.Extensive experience working closely with end users and executive leadership to gather and analyze business needsBusiness process support and/or end user support experience.Strong communication skills; able to interact with both IT peers and business stakeholders.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage multiple priorities and workflows.Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.Preferred: Experience with large-scale implementations and organizations (150+ users)Preferred: Experience working with Agile project delivery methods.Preferred: Certification in at least one of the following major software platforms: NetSuite, Salesforce, or Workday.Preferred: Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions using declarative solutionsSit for prolonged periodsCalculate figures and amountsAnalyze data for trends, errors and ability to transfer between systemsFrequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterityContinually required to talk or hearSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer workContinually required to report to the officeThe noise level in the work environment usually is moderate
