Job Summary

The Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft 365 Administrator will manage and support our organization's eMail environments, to ensure optimal performance, reliability of our collaboration platforms, with an emphasis on security, ransomware protection and response. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, architecture best practices for enterprise-level email, work to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement of our collaboration solutions. The ideal candidate will provide direction, guidance, definition and facilitation for the development of current and future architecture required to meet company needs, goals, and strategic direction. This position will need to work closely with cross-functional teams to align technology strategies with business goals.

This position requires occasional on-call and after-hours support to ensure system availability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Functions :

Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 environments. (10%)Administer user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Microsoft 365. (10%)Utilize monitoring tools to track system performance and user activity, troubleshoot issues, and implement secure solutions that meet organizational needs. (10%)Generate reports on usage, system health, and security metrics for management review.Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to email, calendar, and collaboration tools. (10%)Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for users on best practices and new features. (5%)Maintain and improve the security framework taking advantage of best practices to enhance ransomware protection of organizational data. (10%)Conduct regular audits of Exchange and Microsoft 365 configurations to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. (5%)Lead migration projects for moving users and data to Exchange Online and Microsoft 365. Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful deployment of M365 applications, integrating third-party applications and services with Microsoft 365 to enhance functionality. (10%)Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support projects and initiatives. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Microsoft 365 and Exchange technologies. (10%)Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, including HIPAA, through effective governance and policy enforcement, to include data loss prevention (DLP), security and compliance policies, and access controls. (10%)Serve as a technical leader, provide training and act as a Subject Matter Expert on Exchange and associated Microsoft 365 solutions. (10%)Education :

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business or related field preferred.Work Experience :

7-9 years of managing Microsoft Exchange Servers required.4-6 years of managing Microsoft M365, OneDrive, and related technologies required.4-6 years demonstrated knowledge of security and compliance frameworks related to email and cloud services required.4-6 years of high proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administration, automation and configuration management preferred.Licenses :

MCP-Microsoft Certified Professional - Microsoft required.Microsoft Exchange Server Certification preferred.Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102, MS 721) preferred.Additional certifications in cloud architecture or security (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP) are a plus.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.***This position is fully remote, however, candidate MUST live in Colorado***
