What Will You Do?
The Microsoft 365 Security Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining Microsoft technologies and services with a strong focus on security. This role will involve configuring, troubleshooting, and enhancing M365 services and applications, collaborating with other IT members, and supporting end-users. The person in this role has the primary responsibility of implementing and maintaining Microsoft 365 tools to maximize productivity, collaboration, and data security.
This Administrator role will be hybrid, with a remote and in-office schedule, determined by incumbent and supervisor (VP of IT). For the in-office days, the Deerfield Beach location will be the campus in which this role will primarily reside.

Projects / Systems Development
Design and implement a secure M365 environment.Prepare proposals for M365 licensing additions or changes. Identify projects needed through observation of technology usage and availability.Stay up to date with the latest Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Microsoft 365 features, updates, and best practices.Perform follow-up through system monitoring and communication with users and IT department.Support / Customer Service
Configure and monitor appropriate alerts to allow for quick response to security risks.Provide user support for Microsoft 365 applications and services.Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance user proficiency.Address user queries and resolve technical issues promptly.Support the integration of Microsoft 365 with other business applications.Implement and enforce security policies, including data loss prevention (DLP) and access control.Minimize user downtime by resolving hardware failure in our Deerfield Beach location quickly and efficiently and by supplying spare devices for users when needed.Maintenance
Ensure Microsoft 365 services and endpoints are up to date with the latest patches and security.Manage Entra ID security controls and compliance requirements.Maintain InTune for device management and application management.Troubleshoot and resolve Intune related issues for Windows, Android, and iOS devices.Implement and manage Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection.Configure advanced threat protection policies, conduct threat analysis, and respond to security incidents.Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to ensure effective threat detection and prevention.What Can We Give You?

Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 Office, Teams, Defender, InTune, Exchange, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Purview, and Entra IDFamiliarity with PowerShell and Batch scripting for automation and managementStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions, in a confidential manner.Must have a firm grasp and insight into current and impending technologies to be able to plan and adapt to future goals.High level of organizational business understanding to proactively assess and provide comprehensive technology solutions across departments.A high level of empathy and the ability to vary styles of interaction to match the needs of a variety of temperaments and personalities.Ability to forge strong working relationships with all stakeholders including the technology team, business leaders, and external vendors/consultants.Commitment to learning new systems and technologies.Associates are expected to have a winning attitude to positively affect co-workers.Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft 365 enterprise administration.Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Enterprise Administrator, Security Administrator Associate, or Intune Certification are strongly preferred.
