Our client is a reputable, family-owned company located in the Central Western Suburbs that distributes medical equipment to the health care industry.They are looking for a WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE.
TEMP TO HIREPay Rate:$18/hr.
Hours:8:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri)
DUTIES include (but not limited to):
Picking and packing orders with high accuracyAssemble Parts and label/package for stock/ordersUn-assembling and assembling items such as wheelchair upholstery & componentsInstall wheelchair accessoriesPalletize orders for shipmentOrganize and process documentation for LTL shipmentsSchedule LTL shipmentsLoad and unload vehiclesUtilize material handling equipment such as hand truck, platform truck, pallet jack and cherry picker (Wave) while following all safety rules and regulationsMaintain warehouse cleanlinessOnce hired will be doing deliveries in the Chicagoland area using vans and box truck
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GEDMust have valid driver's license1+ years previous warehouse experience preferredGood written and verbal communication skillsAble to read, write and speak EnglishComputer skills requiredKnowledge of creating & scheduling LTL shipment preferredBasic hand & power tools experience (screwdriver, drills, etc.)Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentDetail orientedWillingness to learn
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbsStand for 8+ hours
