Description:

HTI is seeking Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians for a Beverage Manufacturer in Columbia, SC! This is a Direct Hire, Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, paying up to $36.00/hour + $2.00 shift differential for working the night shift. It is a 12-hour night shift schedule (2-2-3) from 6pm-6:30am. Excellent benefits opportunities, please see below.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Mechatronics Associates degree is highly preferred.Two-year technical certification or technical military experience or equivalent (4 years) workPLC troubleshooting experience.Experience troubleshooting AC/DC drives and high-speed computer-controlled production machinery.Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite and Computerized Maintenance Management.480 Volt / 3 Phase power distribution systems experience.What The Position Will Look Like:The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced production and facility equipment. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes. The technician follows strict safety protocols and maintenance procedures to support the plant in achieving its business goals and objectives.

Complies with all established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of work; including, but not limited to: LOTO, hot work permits, confined space entry, arc flash safety, etc.Supports and follows plant food safety program.Repair, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain high speed production and packaging line equipment.Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair all electrical equipment, solid state circuits, components, logic boards, transmitters transducers, amplifiers, and complex timing and inspection devices.Complete predictive and preventative maintenance on assigned electrical and mechanicalIdentify inefficiencies and electrical problems and create work orders to resolve.Diagnose causes of malfunctions and corrects through programmable logic controls. Ensures efficient equipment operation through proper line control programming and proactively suggest methods to improve line performance.Install, troubleshoot, and repair facility 480 Volts/3 phase power distribution and lighting services.Perform maintenance on high speed inspection equipment and coders.Perform instrumentation calibrations.
