Job DetailsThe Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Supervisor in Brockton, MA with basic supervision (minimum of 3 years) and the direction of the FSQA staff .The responsibilities include conducting quality audits, perform pre-operational inspections of equipment and processing areas, gather and compile production samples, provide incoming ingredient inspections, monitor and ensure compliance with facility HACCP,SSOP, Quality and GMP programs.
What you will do:
Monitor and audit all FSQA Technician checks and verifications
Work with the FSQA team on troubleshooting non-conforming processes, products, and procedures
Document all of the above
Monitor and audit product:
Settings, Parameters, Speeds, Film and box specs
Work with the Production Supervisors and Leads in investigations, corrective and preventive measures on non-conforming products
Train and keep the FSQA team current with all information from one-on-one meetings with the FSQA Manager
Take the lead in monitoring and auditing processes when new or updated products are being run
Conduct weekly GMP Inspection, document findings, and put corrective measures in place
Work with and update weekly Production Schedule for USDA Inspector
Conduct EMP Swabbing, document, and arrange pick-up
Work with the Chemical Company rep during routine visits
Conduct testing and pick up for:
Raw material
Water potability
Create and post monthly Good Manufacturing Practice posters on the Communication Wall in the Handwash area
Monitor the GMP processes
Coach and retrain on GMP processes
Add data to, cross reference, and maintain:
QC Hold Log
Non-Conformance Workbook
Change Orders Forms
Retained Shelf-Life Trending Log
ATP swab information
Collect information and create the 1st Shift FSQA Sample Spec Email
Manage FSQA Techs/ Leads ADP requests and update in the system
Place, monitor data and report Temp tale information
Enter data and maintain the Training Matrix
Conduct New Employee Plant Orientation
Lead in Annual Program refresher Trainings
Maintain calibrations of Metal Detectors, ATP Unit, & Scales
Create labels and maintain the Labeling Program
Create and email the Disposal Record of Destruction
Investigate and document Non-Conformances
Update and maintain the Master Oven Recipe File for both lines
Create and translate SOP’s
Assist in the Customer Complaint Program
Skills
At least 2-3 years of team lead or supervisory experience.
HACCP certification required.
GFSI certification a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
