Job Details

Requirements:

  • Handle a variety of responsibilities to support attorneys in all stages of the litigation process
  • Drafting legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses)
  • Managing case files and maintaining organized records
  • Conducting thorough legal research and analysis
  • Assisting in deposition and trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, organizing notebooks, and coordinating witnesses
  • Communicating with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel
  • Reviewing and summarizing medical records, depositions, and other case-related materials
  • Filing documents with state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with court procedures and deadlines
  • Coordinating depositions, mediations, and other case-related events

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a civil litigation or personal injury litigation paralegal in a law firm or insurance company setting
  • Proven ability to manage a large caseload and juggle competing priorities with ease
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal court systems, rules, and procedures
  • Strong research, drafting, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with case management software (Clio), legal databases, and Microsoft Office Suite
