Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Controller to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional who is passionate about driving business success through effective financial management. The Plant Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing strategic financial input to senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations of the manufacturing plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Manage the preparation of all financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with the corporate finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures, including SOX controls.
• Oversee the general ledger and manage the month-end close process, ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
• Partner with plant management to develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial models and forecasting tools.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA or CPA is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX controls, and general ledger management.
• Proficient in ERP systems, with a strong ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of driving financial success in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
