Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Details

As part of our growth initiative, we are seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to contribute to our success. While we are primarily a defense side firm, we welcome candidates with plaintiff medical malpractice experience.

Responsibilities:

Case Management:

Oversee a caseload of medical malpractice matters, maintaining the firm's high standards from case inception to resolution.

Trial Preparation:

Prepare and manage cases for trial, demonstrating expertise in medical malpractice law.

Client Interaction:

Interact with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and address concerns, fostering positive client relationships.

Carrier Relations:

Maintain relationships with approved carriers, adhering to their guidelines and requirements.

Billing and Productivity:

Meet or exceed the firm's billing expectations, with an annual target of 2100 billable hours. Attorneys exceeding this threshold may be eligible for higher bonuses.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Admitted to the New Jersey Bar with active and good standing status.

5+ years of relevant experience in medical malpractice law.

Trial experience is highly preferred.

While we are a defense side firm, we welcome candidates with plaintiff medical malpractice experience.

Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
