**Job Description:**
- Apply nursing theory, technical, and communication skills to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in the Emergency Department.- Assess patient needs, prioritize urgent or emergent care, and collaboratively provide direct care.- Utilize various invasive and non-invasive procedures, treatments, and therapeutic interventions for managing life-threatening and routine emergency situations.- Employ principles of relationship-based care to alleviate anxiety, provide information, and address pain/discomfort and safety.- Assess physiological, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients of all age groups and their families.- Conduct primary and secondary patient assessments and reassess to identify response to treatment and changes in condition.- Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.- Educate patients and families regarding diagnostic procedures, treatments, and post-emergency care, adapting teaching to individual learning styles.- Prioritize patient and family as the central focus of all care and services, maintaining awareness of the patient's condition throughout the ER visit.- Maintain patient communication and update boards throughout the ED stay, ensuring transparency and continuous information sharing.
