**Job Description:**
- Work in a telemetry unit with 36 beds.- Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 with cath recovery and a maximum of 6:1. At times, may be required to manage 7:1.- Utilize equipment such as remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps.- Document patient information using the Meditech system.- Fulfill scheduling requirements including every other weekend shifts.- May float to Ortho/Med-Surg departments as needed.- Perform procedures such as chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis on the unit.- Strive to achieve a 75% patient satisfaction rate.- Must adhere to the dress code, which allows any scrubs except camo.- Engage with team members and participate in departmental recognition programs, such as the Daisy and Bee awards, and the monthly STAR award.- Follow unit guidelines and policies, including telemetry monitoring and stroke policies.
