Business Intelligence Analyst

This position is based out of Harbor's offices in either Lacey or Kent, Washington for occasional meetings/team events/onsite items that require a reasonable driving commute to these locations when needed, This role does not offer sponsorship or relocation.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will interpret data and reporting to communicate the story of our Business to users. The Business Intelligence Analyst utilizes current data, analytical tools, and user interface applications to interpret information supporting internal customers' business needs. The Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with internal and external clients to assist with determining their information needs and to help them apply reporting and analytics to business decisions. Experience in a
large ERP/corporate sales, high volume SKU environment is required.
Salary: $85K - $115K DOE

Essential Job Functions:Working with department leaders to establish KPI's and methods of reporting that present relevant and actionable data.Identify complex data patterns and inconsistencies through data analysis and data mining.Provide input to and interpret business requirements and determines optimum BI solutions to meet needs.Identify and investigate reporting processes that are inefficient, identify reporting automation opportunities, implement streamlined reporting processes, and ensuring data integrity.Design, implement, and maintain code in development, test, and production environments.Evaluate the effectiveness of projects, processes, and programs by using analytics to compare results with baselines.Take ownership of technical initiatives and drive them to completion.Learn, use, and maintain an established set of tools and technologies, as necessary.Stay current with Microsoft Azure and SQL Server tools and technologies.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders.Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to apply data and reporting results to business processes.Utilize Microsoft Excel: Pivot Table, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Data Models to gather information from multiple sources and deliver information to the end user.Use of Azure services such as Fabric, Synapse and Data Factory.Ability to write and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.Experience in the Microsoft stack including SQL 2016+, SSIS, SSAS, MDX, and SSRS.Education and Experience:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics and a few years direct work experience in a large ERP, high volume sales/SKU environment is required.Substantial experience may be accepted in lieu a degree if directly within the above parameters with advanced Excel and SQL work product.Ability to work well within deadline-oriented development structureAbility to work well independently and within a team environmentStrong technical abilities and desire to learn new thingsExcellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skill, teamwork and customer service skills
