X-Ray Radiologic Technologist

Compensation:
$135,000.00 - $165,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform radiologic procedures in assigned areas such as Outpatient/Inpatient, OR/Hybrid, ER, and Endoscopy suites using both fixed and portable imaging equipment.
Process and submit high-quality diagnostic images to PACS, maintaining a focus on excellence and continuity in patient records.
Participate in departmental performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery efficiencies.
Adhere strictly to infection control policies and radiation safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Engage in continuous education and training to remain current with the latest technologies and practices in radiologic science.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patient comfort and trust during procedures.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
ARRT certification or an ARRT-approved equivalent is required.
Must possess CRT Licensure and a California fluoroscopy license.
Graduate of an AMA-approved school in a formal radiology technology-training program.
Ability to work variable shifts including weekends, holidays, and be on-call as necessary based on department needs.
Demonstrated ability to perform tasks independently and efficiently without requiring constant supervision.
Understanding and practical knowledge of PACS and other radiologic information systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
New graduate with 2 or more years of x-ray experience, particularly in hospital settings such as OR or ER.
Experience in outpatient or clinic settings.
Proven ability to adapt to various clinical environments and patient needs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
Willingness to assist and provide coverage at different Medical Center locations as needed.
Skills:
Expertise in basic and specialized radiographic exams.
Proficient in using both stationary and portable imaging equipment under varied settings.
Strong organizational and time management skills for handling a high volume of procedures efficiently.
Demonstrate outstanding patient identification and preparation techniques.
Capability to maintain focus and professionalism in high-pressure and emergency situations.
Excellent technical abilities with a commitment to continual professional development in radiologic technologies and protocols.
