Portfolio Management Lead - Atlassian Ventures

Overview:The Atlassian Ventures is hiring an essential member of the team to expand portfolio management function. This role will have direct exposure to senior leaders at Atlassian and an opportunity to network and organize with the Atlassian Ventures portfolio and industry leaders.
Reporting to the Head of Atlassian Ventures, this role will drive and maintain robust operations and community surrounding the Atlassian Ventures portfolio. With an eye on customer service and a passion for scaling partner-based motions, this role will be highly cross functional. You will collaborate with Atlassian internal product, GTM, marketing/comms, channel and marketplace teams to ensure Atlassian Ventures’ portfolio companies can grow and expand within Atlassian’s ecosystem. This isn’t an investment role, but rather centered around post-investment support of the growing portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have exposure to SaaS/cloud software and a combination of business operations, business development, customer success and/or strategy experience within an enterprise technology company or a platform team at a VC firm. This individual should be comfortable collaborating with technical teams, communicating with internal and external executives, driving cross-functional alignment, and context switching between implementation details and high-level strategy. This individual should be a self-starter and comfortable juggling competing priorities.
Responsibilities:
Manage a community of startup founders and operators
Plan and execute online and offline events to foster collaboration and learning across The Atlassian Ventures community; may include workshops, founder forums, dinners, and events
Liaise and coordinate with technical strategy team on product integrations and support sales enablement of portfolio companies within Atlassian’s GTM organization
Develop instructional online content/portal to guide portfolio companies how to leverage Atlassian resources
Develop content marketing materials to build Atlassian Ventures brand
Build a metrics driven organization through evolved reporting, dashboards, and tracking channels to provide actionable insight on performance and growth opportunities
Experiment and refine new channels to drive value to Atlassian Ventures portfolio
Quarterback partner marketing requests and track effectiveness of co-marketing activities
Drive regular communication with portfolio companies to understand what they need in order to scale; Be a proactive partner to help them achieve those goals.
Network with Atlassian’s internal teams to build strong relationships and connections for Atlassian Ventures
Connect startups to other companies and founders within our network for business development and internal mentors for guidance and support
Participate in Venture Capital partnership/platform communities to leverage best practices
Qualifications:
5-10 years of directly relevant professional experience (e.g. VC platform team, marketing or community at a startup/accelerator, business development/sales or customer success).
Demonstrated a strong passion for and experience with tech startups and VC ecosystem
Founder-first mentality. Customer-service oriented. Executive presence and committed empathy to the startup journey. Winning mindset - match our founder’s passion for results and bias to action

Motivated self-starter, with high productivity, and excellent follow-through. A belief that no job is too small
CompensationAt Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn, we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $175,500 - $234,000
Zone B: $158,000 - $210,600
Zone C: $145,700 - $194,200
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
