As
Head of Business Transformation, Group Claims , you will be responsible for leading and driving the Group Claims value stream on the Absence Comprehensive Experience project, while also being responsible for the leadership, launch, and delivery of other Group Claims transformation initiatives related to our systems and technology. You will develop a team that works on complex efforts and supports cross-functional collaborations to deliver solutions to both internal and external customers. You will understand, analyze, document, and refine business needs and requirements, apply standard methodologies and processes, and engage with subject matter authorities to ensure alignment against business priorities and initiatives.You will lead the team as a forward-thinker, innovator, and change agent, responsible for using continuous improvement and organizational change practices to drive successful adoption and increase effectiveness across Group Claims. You will build the frameworks that enhance our performance and drive consistent delivery within the value stream.You report directly to the Head of Claims Strategy and Program Management and will assist in developing the strategy and vision for the Group Benefits Claims value stream. You will work with Group Claims leadership and other business partners to understand business and market needs and ensure we are supporting the Group Claims Keys to Success, as identified in our target letter.You Will
Lead and develop the team responsible for the Group Claims value stream on the Absence Comprehensive Experience project and other Group Claims transformation initiatives related to systems and technology.Ensure that the value stream is aligned with business priorities and initiatives.Lead cross-functional activities with other teams and value streams on the Absence Comprehensive Experience project and other transformation initiatives as they relate to Group Claims.Partner with IT resources and architects to provide input on system requirements and architecture artifacts that align business needs with execution.Provide organizational change leadership.Assist in championing and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the Group Claims organization.Work directly with the Head of Group Claims Strategy, Head of Group Claims Enablement, and Head of Group Claims Transformation & Reengineering to define and support the strategic roadmap and key initiatives within Claims.In addition, you will install a team structure and champion a culture focused on:Insightful critical thinking.Embedding data & analytics everywhere.High urgency and bias for action.Execution orientation.Driving change and innovation.Consumer-centricity.You Have
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.8+ years of work experience in Group Insurance (Group Claims preferred).3+ years of work experience with large, complex programs.Scaled Agile Certification (SAFe, POPM, CSPO) preferred.Demonstrated knowledge of software delivery methodologies (Agile, Kanban, etc.).Experience with the FINEOS AdminSuite platform preferred.Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Creativity and thought leadership, comfortable with developing newly enhanced programs and structure, versus maintaining the status quo.Strong communication skills with the ability to form effective relationships, influence others and work effectively in a matrixed organization.Possess proven and effective leadership qualities and skills, with the ability to express and defend ideas and concepts.Ability to thrive, operate and influence in an environment of change.Excellent and resourceful relationship manager with the ability to influence and negotiate to desired business outcomes.Proven leadership skills and management experience with an ability to recruit, develop, inspire and retain a strong organization, and effectively deal with various personalities; this should involve a consistent track record of continual performance improvement within the team.Location
The primary location for this position is Plano, TX with a hybrid schedule of 2 days in office. Position will require occasional travel.Salary Range
$126,970.00 - $208,600.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
