As part of this commitment, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic and passionate candidate, eager to contribute to our continued success through the following employment opportunity: A bout the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Graphic Designer with proven experience in the Adobe Creative Suite that can expertly take written or spoken ideas and turn them into illustrations, layouts and multi-media designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, exceptional creativity, and the ability to bring our brand to life across various mediums. The Graphic Designer will embrace new ideas, help elevate the ideas of others, be flexible, creative and agile. About the Team Global Communications Team (11 people) The Loomis Sayles Global Communications team is responsible for a broad range of internal and external communications efforts that promote and protect the Loomis Sayles brand. Areas of expertise include thought leadership, content production & marketing, brand & advertising, digital marketing, graphic design, public relations and reputation management. Global Communications team members are creative thinkers who are passionate about their areas of expertise. Team members eagerly assist each other as well as internal and external clients and look for opportunities to better themselves in order to continue producing outstanding content that elevates Loomis Sayles’s global brand. Job Responsibilities Create visually compelling and on-brand marketing materials, from conception to delivery, including but not limited to infographics, whitepapers, PowerPoint presentations, social media posts, corporate stationery, illustrations, and website layout. Work under the direction of the Brand Manager to understand project scope and deliver designs that effectively communicate our brand & messaging. Generate high-resolution graphics, illustrations, and dynamic layouts that meet both brand guidelines and technical standards. Standardize & refresh marketing collateral on an annual or ad-hoc basis to ensure consistent and cohesive visual identity across all material & mediums. Increase UX on digital communication & thought leadership. Collaborate cross-functionally to understand project requirements and ensure deliverables are approved, compliant and meets the criteria of the project. Excellent communication skills in sharing your design concepts, presenting to all levels of co-workers throughout all stages of design. Vendor management including large-format print vendors and execution of printed items. Refine images, templates and layouts using Adobe CC software, Microsoft 360 & Canva. Create innovative and engaging animations/videos for thought leadership & social media. Work cross-functionally on company events and corporate or client projects. Stay current with industry trends and tools to continuously improve design output. Qualifications and Education Requirements BFA / BA / BS 3+ years of experience as a designer, ideally in a regulated industry (finance, pharma, healthcare, energy) industry. Highly skilled conceptual thinker and driver of timelines and due dates. Proven understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, and layout. Expert level skills in Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe After Effects. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Canva. Experience working with digital solutions such as WordPress or similar CRM systems. Ability to ideate and execute creative solutions quickly collaboratively and autonomously. Great eye for detail, demonstrate creative and innovative problem solving. Additional Qualifications Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools like Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro. Familiarity with user experience (UX) digital design principles. Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple design projects simultaneously.
