We are a 50-person, fast-paced, highly energetic IT Consulting company located in Dallas and Denver. BNC has been providing IT project services as well as supporting the entire IT infrastructure of businesses in their markets for more than twenty five years.
BNC is looking for a Director of Sales with excellent sales skills to handle a territory goal and also lead a small, growing sales team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can effectively sell, motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue goals for our markets. If you have proven experience increasing year-over-year team revenue, all while maintaining your own personal quota, this is for you.
Working out of our main office in Dallas, you will lead a team of 2-3 professionals dedicated to driving B2B sales in the markets we service.
Coaching and skills development of team members is a key part of the Director of Sales role. You will be managing our outbound program and BRD along with 1-2 outside sales reps.ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall responsibilities are 25% emphasis on Sales Team Leadership and coaching, 10% Strategy and 65% focused on your new sales.Directly engage in sales activities, including lead generation, customer meetings, and closing deals plus management of pipeline in a high growth selling environment.Meet or exceed individual team member sales quotas and targets.Maintain and manage a personal sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and exceptional customer service.Develop and implement effective sales strategies, training programs, and team development initiatives.Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to team members to ensure continuous growth and improvement.Conduct regular performance reviews and help underperforming team members to improve.Work with the CEO, COO and 3rd party experts on strategic initiatives and overall corporate strategy.Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on messaging, product offerings, and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with the team to create and execute innovative prospecting strategies to penetrate accounts and manage referral partners.Enthusiastically represent our solutions to lead referral partners and local associations.Responsible for the achievement of sales quotas and other performance-related objectives.Build rapport and trusting relationships with both the internal team and clients.Track sales team metrics and report data to leadership regularly.QualificationsWHAT WE WANT TO SEE
Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred.Formal sales training such as Sandler a big plus.Must subscribe to the company’s CORE values.Outward – think about the success of the team in addition to their own success.Trusting – Respect, Honesty and Empathy is how we trust.Exceptional – Continual growing, learning and evolving together.Must have a minimum of 5+ years managing an outside solutions sales team, demonstrated success leading and growing teams (team size of 3 or more), and experience in at least two previous organizations would be a plus.Must have experience in the Professional Services industry selling consulting services or solutions that require customization, calling on executive level decision makers.Has hands on experience in Lead Generation.Has a strong CRM background (Salesforce) and reporting accountability and metrics. (operating metrics, seeing the data, and understanding trends)Has exceptional communication skills and professional appearance.Must have a history of staying with their previous companies for a minimum of 3-5 years.What We Offer
