Counsel
to support the Work Dynamics group in the Americas.Counsel – Americas Work dynamics –
Chicago, IllinoisResponsibilities:Review, prepare and negotiate contracts with third party vendors performing a variety of out-sourced services; forms will include Service Contractor Agreements and Professional Consulting AgreementsProvide legal assistance in the development, review and updating of firm policies, procedures, template agreements, and department best practicesCounsel management with respect to compliance and ethics, and conduct internal training and information sessionsLiaise with the firm’s Risk Management Department to identify/assess liability for provision of servicesExercise good commercial judgment to understand business needs and provide appropriate and responsive legal supportAct as internal clients’ trusted colleague who coordinates strategy with respect to commercial contracting, compliance, contractual disputes, and best practicesEnhance and support the department’s technology solutions and knowledge management effortsRequirements:Juris Doctorate from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in at least one U.S. statePrefer 3-7 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house with experience negotiating and drafting contractsAbility to conceptualize and articulate practical and creative solutions to meet business needs and legal requirementsAbility to work independently, but in a team environmentStart a lasting career with Jones Lang LaSalle today!We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
