The Impact You Will Have:The Associate General Counsel, Director - Hyperscale Sales you will provide legal counsel to support the company’s customer contract negotiations, vendor contract negotiations and other corporate-related tasks. You maintain compliance with all internal contract policies and procedures, and provide support to the Company’s business units.
What You Will Do:Responsibility for broad range of legal matters and general business matters based on the needs of the companyNegotiate and draft customer and vendor contractsNegotiate and draft various business-related documents and agreementsAssist with a variety of business-related functions, including, loans, equity raises, acquisitions, construction, real estate, reporting and compliance, litigation, etc.Assist with information technology-related mattersAssist with compliance with various domestic and international privacy lawsAssist with the company’s data security programManage collections on customer accountsManage customer bankruptcy filingsPreferred locations: Duluth, Georgia or Ashburn, Virginia
What You Will Need to be Successful:
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials.Six or more years of experience as a lawyer working in the areas of contract negotiation, real estate, lease negotiation, and/or corporate lawData center industry experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Hands-on, self-starter who is disciplined and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting that requires a highly accurate and timely work productExcellent listening, written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to learn ERP systemsExcels in a team-oriented work environmentStrong work ethic and accountability to deadlinesAbility to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environmentProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), Box and DocuSignExcellent analytical, time-management, judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyMust be able to maintain a high degree of confidentialityPossess ambition and an optimistic attitudeAbility to manage competing priorities and demands on timeStrong problem-solving and negotiation skillsAble to take initiative with little directionThe Perks (and these are just a few!):QRest SabbaticalEmployee Stock PurchaseQTS scholarship for dependentsEagle Club award trip eligibilityPaid volunteer daysTuition assistance, parental leave and military leave assistance
