**Job Title: Filler Operator (SMO)****Job Description**The machine operator will be responsible for the following job duties:- Responsible for operating the filling and packaging equipment. Duties may include completing daily and weekly P.Ms (preventative maintenance), adjusting and aligning all primary functions of the machinery.- Responsible for making minor mechanical repairs and replacement of certain defective parts.- Set up jobs on machines by feeding containers onto the conveyor line and keying in the product that will be run into the computer systems.- Quality auditing filled products by ensuring that the maximum/minimum fill lines are hit.- Aiding in packing and production at the end of each line as required.- Stopping machines to help break them down and mechanically tear them apart for clean in place (CIP) procedures. The operator may get wet.- Maintain compliance with all GMP and HACCP/FDA regulations for goods manufacturing, daily production records, and quality reports.- Assist in the training of production assistants with GMP and safety rules.**Hard Skills**+ Machine Operator+ Food Processing Machine+ Production Line Operator**Job Type**This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.**Work Environment**This is the loudest part of the entire facility. Food processing platforms are very close in proximity and will constantly be turning/running, creating a loud hum. Hearing protection is required in this area. The area also gets very warm during the summer due to the machinery running and minimal climate control.
