Job Title: Filler Operator [SMO]Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Filler Operator to join our team. This role involves operating filling and packaging equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with GMP and HACCP/FDA regulations. Shifts: 1st shift 5am-5pm on a 2-2-3 schedule 3rd shift 5pm-5am on a 2-2-2 schedule Pay Rate: $19.31-$21.31ResponsibilitiesOperate filling and packaging equipment.Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance.Adjust and align all primary functions of machinery.Make minor mechanical repairs and replace defective parts.Set up jobs on machines by feeding containers onto conveyor lines and keying product data into computer systems.Conduct quality audits to ensure products meet maximum/minimum fill lines.Assist in packing and production at the end of each line as needed.Stop machines and perform clean-in-place (CIP) procedures, which may involve getting wet.Maintain compliance with all GMP and HACCP/FDA regulations, daily production records, and quality reports.Assist in training production assistants on GMP and safety rules.Essential SkillsExperience as a Machine Operator, Packaging Operator, or Filler Operator.Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and regulations (GMP, HACCP).Ability to operate processing machines and production line equipment.Proficiency in using hand tools for mechanical repairs.Why Work Here?Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package from day one, including two medical options, two dental options, vision, 401k with company match up to 4%, and profit sharing. Hearing protection is required. The area can get very warm during the summer due to machinery running and minimal climate control.
