Certification Details Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Job Details ASAP START No Holiday RTO - Must be willing to work the Holidays: Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, & New Years Day No Call Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required May float to Med-Surg Unit Details: Avg Census: 36 Rooms/Beds 36 Ratios - 1:4 Every other weekend coverage required No Call requirement Scrubs: Royal Blue Patient Population: Adolescents - Geriatrics Must be able to work in Telemetry setting. Must have experience with vents, groin care and chest tubes. Accepts 1st time travelers RTO must be on the submittal No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment 1 Holiday RTO must only be submitted but it is not guaranteed to be approved Once RTO is submitted, this cannot be changed unless it’s to cancel time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13 week contract NO MORE THAN 3 DAYS RTO MAX Job Requirements Must be able to read strips Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring Required Cardiovascular skills: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs Required Medication skills: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration Required Respiratory/Thoracic Skills: Care of Chronic/Long-term Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks, Tracheostomy Management Schedule Information Every other weekend coverage required No Call requirement Unit Specific Information Unit Details: Avg Census: 36 Rooms/Beds 36 Ratios - 1:4 May float to Med-Surg Every other weekend coverage required No Call requirement Patient Population: Adolescents - Geriatrics
