Employment Law Associate Attorney

A women-owned, mid-size California law firm seeks an Employment Law Associate Attorney for litigation defense work. This position is hybrid with 3 days in office/week. Position requires (i) an active license to practice law in California and (ii) 2+ years of employment litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have wage and hour experience in both class action and PAGA and will have experience managing and analyzing records to assess compliance issues on a representative basis. Position includes a base salary of $130,000-170,000 DOE + annual bonus + excellent benefits (including no health insurance premiums).

Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategiesArgue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedingsAdvise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of actionConduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motionsDraft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefsCommunicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficientlySkills
