General Liability/Professional Liability Attorney

A women-owned, mid-size California law firm seeks an Associate Attorney - General Liability / Professional Liability for litigation defense work. This position is hybrid with 3 days in office/week. Position requires (i) an active license to practice law in California and (ii) 2+ years of experience representing both design professionals and miscellaneous professionals. Position includes a base salary of $150,000-190,000 DOE + annual bonus + excellent benefits (including no health insurance premiums).Salary:

Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action.Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior attorneys to provide legal advice.Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.Communicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently.Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.Skills
