Employment Defense Attorney
to join their Los Angeles office. This position offers a
hybrid work schedule , combining both in-office and remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for defending employers in various employment-related disputes, advising clients on employment law compliance, and representing them in litigation, administrative hearings, and arbitration.Key Responsibilities:Represent employers in state and federal court in employment-related litigation, including wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims.Provide counsel on employment law matters, including compliance with labor laws, employee handbooks, policies, and workplace investigations.Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.Advocate for clients in administrative proceedings before government agencies (e.g., EEOC, DFEH, DLSE, NLRB).Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar.1+ years of experience in employment law litigation, preferably on the defense side.
